An Exploration of Metafunctions and Binary Oppositions in Pakistani Paintings and Poems

Art and poetry go hand in to appeal the senses of creators art lovers. The objective this research was explore connection visual how these forms juxtaposed create meaning. A collection, Maritime Treasures Pakistan, featuring selected be analyzed using Visual Grammar framework (2006) light Derrida’s (1967/1997) theory deconstruction, respectively. analysis showed that can help us interpret images but a theoretical perspective for textual mode provide an even better understanding between different semiotic modes.
